hey guys!
i wonder if u can introduce me to some local percussion group/ ensemble/associations which i can join as a member player (beginner level, can?). to be more specific, im more interested in jazz/ bossa nova percussion ensemble/groups/clubs. i'd like to know both formal and informal groups, but preferably the latter.
im not sure if there will be any grp would be willing to take in noobs or beginners like me. cos i know that most of such associations are probably swarmed with pros. but im really intrigued by those vibes-playing and even the light percussion grooves like triangle, conga, etc. i really hope to see how these percussionists at work, as in what they do during their practice, how they come up with certain grooves.
