This is the Mcpherson 4.0XP Port Oxforad Cedar/Madacassacar Rosewood. Using a militery grade carbon fiber on the neck and its stiffer than one with a adjustable truss rod. Bone nut and saddle. 1 3/4 neck width with the LR Baggs RTS2 pickup which is standard on the Mcps. If you talk to Mcps. Owners they will all attest to you that the Mcphersons sound darn good live in a loud band setting and it cuts thru the mix like a hot knife going thru butter.

The Mad Rose on this resembles the straight Grain Brazilian rosewood with a rather nice ping type of tap tone. Clear with its paired with the port oxford cedar. The 4.0 depth at the butt end gives it more bottom end to the tone as compared to a 3.5 body...watch the video and hear the comparison done.

#### In all Honestly...Mcpherson guitars are made to last. Built like a tank..though its heavy..its tough. Tonewise it has that unique deep bass response that is MAJESTIC not loose like a cheap sub woofer. Tight but majestic and the trebles are PUNCHY when you really dig it in without Distortion.

If you play in a live loud church band setting- Everyone should own one...yes they should...i know you would say I'm talking nonsense...but its thru.

let watch a video ...
