Hi all, we are 2 beginner guitarists looking to form a band. We intend to cover songs according to our musical preferences which varies widely. We are mainly influenced in genres such as pop, rock, blues. More specifically we are tapping into genres such as rock & roll, r&b, funk, psychedelic, soul, folk, metal, downtempo, trip-hop, swing, indie & acoustic sessions. As we do not have a specific genre to focus on, the songs we cover really depends on suggestions. As long as everyone is comfortable & enjoys jamming to that particular song.
We have plans to write our own originals as well as performing. More importantly, we hope to interact with more musicians to gain exposure, friends & knowledge as we go along. Our preferred jamming location would be town area.
Currently, we are looking for the following bandmates within the age group of 20s;
-A female vocalist (bonus if you could play the keyboard)
-A keyboardist
-A bassist
-A Drummer
Some of the artists we like are: black keys, beatles, arctic monkeys, daft punk, hozier, led zeppelin, red hot chilli peppers, tame impala, of monsters & men, civil wars, portishead, massive attack, allen stone, blues traveler.
