Looking for singers who like to harmonize and can sing by ear and or acoustic musicians & percussionists (like cajon, hand drums) to play music for fun.
Love acoustic folk music of different kinds, indie, americana, beatles, iron and wine, gillian welch, different world musics that have beautiful harmonies (african, old-time, irish/scottish, etc). Mostly on the mellow and melodic side of things. also 90s alternative. hoping to find a small group with similar musical interests to meet up and share songs to cover, improvise and create. i took a vocal improvisation class and there are some musical improv games I'd love to play with others too. Not really needing to perform although open to it.
I play rhythm guitar, maybe intermediate level but not super technical in my skills though. soundcloud.com/eugseah are some covers I've done and mbira music (african thumb piano) I've made.
In my 30s, any age is fine as long as reliable!
