Les Paul versus dual humbuck guits...

depends on electronics & wood used right?

i would assume u're talking about LPs with "superstrat" H-H or H-S-H guitars.

neck profile usually is different. LP tend to have thicker necks. also tend to be set-necks, although not always the case.

H-H guitars usually come with a tremolo bridge, while LPs usually are fixed bridge or use a bigsby tremolo.

LPs tend to be heavier than H-H guitars.

if a Les Paul gets into the picture, it's about having thick bottom end, more than anything else, which no other dual humbuking guitars could really emulate... except maybe a TOKAI Love Rock... 8)

a Les Paul (usually) IS a dual humbucking guitar. it's a little weird to compare something to a category of things that it's in. you can compare two objects, but you can't really compare an object to a category. 8O

well, i think we know what you're talking about.

Well i can say the sound is chunkier than lets say an Ibanez RG
to me that is.

yup... ironically, it wasn't a humbucking guitar to begin with: P-90...
