(YELLOW) Kling-On Clear Classical Guitar Top Protector, 3 Piece Set CL-3P-C

Set of three top protectors made from clear, static cling vinyl. Intended for use on classical/nylon string guitars. Two pieces fit on either side of the strings, between the soundhole and bridge, the third fits behind the bridge where string changes tend to scratch the top. Protects the top of your guitar from heavy playing or fingernail tapping. Non-permanent. Note: It is recommended that Kling-On protectors be removed after each use, and only used on fully cured finishes at least six months old. Most French-Polish finished guitars work very well with Kling-On products. Protection for this type of finish was one of the main reasons Kling-On guitar top-protectors were initially developed.

Measurements:
6.25" long, 1.5" wide (top)
6.25" long, 2.75" wide (bottom)
3.5" long, .7" wide (string protector)

Thickness:
7 mil

NOTE: With so many guitar makers and manufacturers it is virtually impossible to guarantee how a particular Guitar Protection product will work with the multitude of guitar finishes now being used. Following some of these simple rules will help you pick the best Guitar Protection product for you and insure that your guitar remains free from damage.

- We recommend temporary application during playing time ONLY, for all instruments, with especially diligent adherence to this rule for new instruments.

- Nitro-Cellulose based finishes are the main types where care must be used with any Guitar Protection product. These types of finishes continue to expel gases for many months after they are "dried" on the instrument. These gases will become trapped under some Guitar Protectors and cause a reaction creating markings in the finish. For instruments with this type we recommend only applying products during actual playing time and to be always removed.

- Most French-Polish finished guitars can work well with some Guitar Protection products. UV-Dried finishes (i.e. Taylor Guitars) have also tested very well to work safely with most Guitar Protection products.

- A number of guitar makers today employ both French-Polish and Nitro-Cellulose methods, sometimes even on one single instrument. We have even heard of a nitro-cellulose lacquer being applied with a French-Polish technique.
