I'm sure this is a thread, but I couldn't find it, so if it is one already feel free to point me in the right direction.
I've had a Gibson SG for a few years now, and really like it. It's got the very common 498 or what ever pickup combination (the man knows his stuff). Though recently I've been kind of craving trying a P90 style pickup, I've never had one before. I like the humbucker in the neck, but I'm thinking of swapping the bridge out for something.
So my question really comes in two parts
1. Anybody recommend a humbucker sized p90?
2. Anybody got any experience of mixing a humbucker and p90 sound? Does it meld well in the middle position? Is there volume differences etc
