Guitar pickups humming away

Hi, I am currently using a Gibson Robot guitar, and it hum/buzz on whenever I am not touching metals part, which also mean it create clicking sound as I change from fingerings to fingerings.

Check online, and they said that it something to do with the shielding.

Do you guys have any idea what the problem is? Any chance that it can be repaired?


Btw, I tried my Fender strat, and there no humming sound, so must be my Gibson Robot

Hi,
yeah you can bring it down and we'll take a look at it. Maybe you could direct the webpage that said it had something to do with the shielding to me so i can get a better idea? If it's the same as normal guitar shielding then it shouldn't be a problem. Or, you could try what imkeith said and put a 3 pin plug on your amp. Cheers!
