battery drain pre-amp issues

hi,

i encounter some heavy battery drain from a 80s MEC pre. every mth more or less need to change to a new battery. its was installed by SV but TYMC solve the noisy grounding issue.

qns: pre-amp is crapped out or its the installation, etc..etc...

my Warwick vampyre lasted a very very long time with 1 battery in the range of 6 mths or longer.

hi, the grounding might have grounded the battery miinus? resulting in always 'on' condition. trace the battery minus lead to see if it is grounded?
