whats up softies, merry christmas! got my HT-5C (C - combo type) awhile back, and i feel it cant give me that metal tone that im looking for. any suggestions on any overdrive/distortion pedals or EQ settings to get me that good metal tone ( think of the All That Remains guitar tones n stuff.)...

any good pedals out there to make sounds like from all that remains, and that metal sound. i tried the digitech deathmetal, too messy for me, but alot of other distortion pedals are too weak sounding for me. i use a blackstar ht-5 combo. any suggestions?

:confused: What is an effects loop on an amplifier? i have one, it has two(2) jacks in it and a level button. Is there any advantage/disadvantage of using this instead of regular input jack for effect pedals? im a noob. thanks.
