Hi, i was wondering what kind of shoes do you wear on drums?
I know most of you probably go barefeet and thats what im doing now since i dont have a proper shoe but sometimes i use shoe for the cushion and feels mcuh better. anyone knows where i can get the dB Drum shoe or any other shoe to recommend?

Does nigel have them?

I play with socks. dunno why..but i feel more comfortable being able to slide when i need to on the surface of the bass drum pedal..

shoes with thin sole is good for playing drum...recommand shoes are westling shoes...those kind like boots kind...they have really thin sole... serious... :D

the purpose is to let u feel the foot board and provide u the ability to slide up and down on the pedal as the surface of that kinda boot got a smooth surface...there is low cut type selling at peninsula plaza if im not wrong( im not very sure though )

hope my info helps

Cheers!!!

barefoot at home and depends wat shoe i wear out for gigs.AHAHAHAH.could be my all stars or slip ons.ahahaha.

i din know they had drums shoessss.aha.

Hmmm.... Just my humble opinion but I feel wearing a pair of running shoes will help.. Get those new balance they had when u're in NS.... Keeps ur feet comfortable and u feel less lethargic... The in-sole of a new balance is well-known for its 'springy' feeling so when u're double pedaling, haha no sweat!

barefooted...

maybe a pair straw sandles or the gettai sometimes (just kdding, thinking too much about the ronins and ancient japan footwear)

when im jamming outside,i using wear my puma shoes.the ones that has a sole that looks like a car tyre o_O

looks similar to the ones the thread starter posted on

I barefoot at home, jamming + playing show will use either my DC skateshoes or SAF Issued New balance "running" shoes.

Don't really have a preference... BUT i've tried combat boots before, totally no feeling + control on pedal.

Yeah man! about 1 inch thick sole. That time after book out, go jamming straight. So, no choice, wear that bloody combat boots.. lol

check this out... Sheila E used to play in heels on drumset and on percussions, till she kerna joint pains all over. She now changes to sneakers when she plays drums and has her heels handy when she needs to move to the front of the stage...
