I am selling off my collection of 3 sets of drums.
This is one of the 3.
2. Mapex QR Drum Shell Pack ($250)
This set is made of basswood, which sounds better than poplar wood. I am hesitant of letting this go because of its wrap. It has a very unique wrap that reflects lights in an intersting way & gives a kind of illusion that you won't find on many other drum wraps.
What is being sold:
Bass drum 18x16
Floor Tom 14x14
Mid Tom 12x9
High Tom 10x8
Snare drum 14x5.5
- Comes with tom mount (attached onto bass drum) for the rack toms
(refer to photo to see what exactly is being sold)
Condition of items:
This is a lightly used drum set. Some visible play marks on snare drum skin. There might be some barely visible scratches at some places on some shells. There's a scratch on one of the tom lugs. Due to its age, the air vents of the shells have rust, and some washers inside the drumshell have rust. These could be easily fixed by sanding the metal pieces or replacing them. The external hardware do not have rust.
Who is this suitable for?
A. This could be your first drumset, you'll just have to get the hardware (cymbal stands, throne, pedal, cymbals, etc..) elsewhere on your own.
B. If you like to collect drum shells with a unique wrap.
C. If you need a drum shell to do rental service or as a backup kit.
This set have smaller shells which means lower in volume and takes up a smaller footprint in your room or on the stage.
Also, do note that the rack toms are using Mapex Drum's ITS Suspension system, which means that the tom holder does not penetrate into the shell, allowing the rack toms to have a fuller and resonant sound.

2. Like any other seller, I'm looking to let go to the buyer who can offer the highest and deal the soonest. So in this regard, I may not be able to reserve the item if your proposed deal date is much later in the future and a new potential buyer is keen on dealing earlier than yourself.

4. Due to my neighbour's low tolerance for noise, it is not possible for you to test the items (i.e. cannot play drums), you may only manually inspect them. Please inspect them to your satisfaction before accepting the items at my place because it won't make any sense to do any kind of refund due to the bulkiness of the items.
5. If you are able to buy all 3 sets at the total asking price of $450, I can throw in some additional stuff (such as cymbal mutes, etc..) for free when we meet to deal.
