Recommend electric guitar strings

I found the stock strings on my guitar too thin to play comfortably with.

Are there any good, affordable and 'fat' guitar strings to recommend me? And is it true that different strings have different level of sustain?

do you know your current strings' gauge?

there are many 'fat' strings to indulge in, let us know how thick you wish it'd be.

I dunno what's my current string gauge...

I just want them thick enough for me to do sliding without slicing dead skin off my fingertips. And also thick enough to do hammer ons and pull-offs without losing sustain. How about a 'moderately' thick string?

.010s'll prob suit u the best. Try DR Strings(Davis), long life, all-rounded strings for many diff genres. Other gd choices include Curt Mangans(G77) and Electro-Harmonix(PM subversion).

Thanks for all the suggestion guys! I purchased a set of heavy bottom DR strings, 010 to 052, from Davis.

i've been using Dean Markley Blue Steels .010 - .046s for awhile now, but after fitting on a set of Everly B-52s, i think i might not be getting blue steels for awhile..

I am using Blue Steel by Dean Markley, all can i say for me is, GOOD. and affordable and durable!
