Zoom R16 vs R24?

Hi all,

I'm looking to purchase a Zoom R16 in the future for drum-micing.
However the R24 looked interesting with two features:
the Sampler (specifically time-stretching).
Sync with another R16/24 unit.

I'm looking for opinions if that 200 bucks is worth the additional features as I can't find better alternatives.

if i'm not wrong r24 has phantom powers on all 8.
I only use 2 max. so r16 is enough for me. if I need more I'll wire up my additional preamp.
