Hi ppl ... anyone has this multi effects ? does city music has it in store ? what's the price ?? anybody here can write a reviews on it ?

there's this 'tube' thingy in the effect ... will it b damage easily ? can it b replace here in sg ? i mean ... does city music or any other agent carries spare parts ??

ooh and another thing, comparing this ZOOM Gtt9.2 with BOSS GT8 ... which will u guys prefer ?

thank u in advance for your time guys ... :D

yes its in stock

its 572 after discount i tink

and i don't think it can compete head to head with the gt8 with insane tweakability, but its in a league of its own

ooh thanks jeremy ... it's very much cheaper than GT8 and dont think it'll b more difficult to tweak ... ??? what about sound wise ??

anyone has it ? care to tell me more about it ? what's the 2 pedal do, top row and bottom rows ... say, it has 5 channels ... GT8 has 4 + 1 ... so what's the differences ?

do go for the gt8 pls, im not exactly a fan of zoom products cos i had a bad experience with a gfx 4, omg, sux.

haha sorry jeremy (:

yeah nick ... i've went to GT8 forum ... and it's really 'looks' good but then, the tweaking and setting up really looks damn technical rite ??? GT8 wud b another good choice i guess ...

i'm zoom user too ... the distortion is not as tight but then, as what most wud say ... most multi effects distortion r like that ...

so, i wud really like to know how does this G9.2tt fair ? ooh, read up some comments and saw the specs ... this Z-pedal got a Z-Talking ... and pitch shifter ... like got lotsa things in there ... but i'm more concern of that tube thingy ... wonder will it burst and can b replace anot ? any spare parts available in sg ? city music ??

Just wanna bring up some differences between the older generations of GFX1,3,4,5,8 and the new generation of G2/2.1u/7.1ut/9.2tt. The difference is in the processor and sampling rates.

The new "G" series uses ZFX-3, a 32-bit DSP (Digital Signal Processor)
zfx3.jpg

A/D Conversion : 24bit, 64times over-sampling
D/A Conversion : 24bit, 128times over-sampling
Signal Processing : 32bit 8)

The older "GFX" series uses ZFX-2, with:
A/D Conversion: 20 bit, 64 times oversampling
D/A Conversion: 20 bit, 8 times oversampling

By looking at the numbers in the specs, you can see why the GFX4 sounded bad. But the new "G" series sound better.

Plus, just look at that... reminds me of wakeboarding...

ok, thanks sqoobs for the numbers ...

mind telling me more on the 9 stepping switches and the 2 pedals ?

SpaTanS,

The buttons are for bank selection, patch selection, toggling effects module on/off, and controlling the effects with the pedals, i believe there's more.

you may wanna read up on the product at its product page:
http://www.zoom.co.jp/english/products/g92tt/index.php

hear for yourself how it really sound (nice demo track! 8) )
http://www.zoom.co.jp/archive/mp3files/101.mp3

plus, if you cannot sleep at night, read the story book about this G9.2tt
http://www.zoom.co.jp/archive/English_Manual/E_G92tt.pdf

and most importantly, just travel down to CityMusic to test it out. Friendly pple there. :D

well if you like the sound of the zoom, den go for it if not, then look at other pedals

theres still the korg ax3000, the pod xtlive, boss gt6/8, digitech gnx3000, and individual pedals, for mfx, best is to go there and try it yourself, better if you bring your guitar down 2

thanks sqoobs for the links ... i've read thru those and get a pretty good idea what's the sounds like ... even read thru those reviews at HC ... but was wondering if any softies here actually own the G9.2tt ?

getting down to city music to test doesnt really makes a differents IMO ... need to tweak and get familiarize with the effects takes alot of time

so i guess, if any bros/sis here can do up a reviews wud b most appreciated ... something similar like GT8 threads by bluepowder ? anybody ??
