i used a korg1500 before.. it has lotsa fun tones, lotsa drives..
allows 16sec recording/looping,
expression pedal with volume control all the way to wahs and weird effects.
might want to note that its pretty small as compared to most multi efx like tonelab se, etc...
good for fun now, and now as in (not more then 6 months if u really love playing your guitar a lot)
after which u'll grow sick of it...

G9 user here...

No complains on the tone whatsoever.. Does the job real well for me... It all boils down to just sitting down and tweaking till u get what u what..

Combines real well with the Crate Powerblock! Hehe

But damn, that thing is sure hell is heavy... :?

when we play a multi-FX unit, we must bear in mind the extent of its capacity; the wah offerings in the G9 for instance, wasn't there to rival a dedicated wah unit...

I've used the earlier version of Zoom FX and I can say that some are not to my liking. But the G9.2tt is a step up from other efx that Zoom had made.

I like my G9. It offers some good tones. There are still many areas that I need to explore which I havent. Good to play around with

Haha...wow..sounds like i shouldnt waste money on the extra wah pedal..haha...any other recomendations for a budget below like 500..
