Latest News From The Cymbal Vault at Zildjian there have been rumours surrounding the production of the New Prototype Jazz K Series Cymbals. According to press reports the Zildjian Company decided to create this new series a year after the sucess of the Armand A Cymbals in 2007 this was to facilitate the needs of the growing jazz community that needed new color's with their current kit.
The new Jazz K range has an even lower profile then the current K series as well as a larger bell to accommodate for a more defined bell sound. Bringing the Shimmer back into Jazz Zildjian has also decided to offer their popular "Brilliant" finish to this range. Zildjian have included as well a 20" Jazz China that makes a nice "Pong" sound instead of the traditional "ping" from the Rides.
Projected to hit stores in the US on the 1st of April 2008...
