ok here is my zhnged guitar.had nothing better to do as my guitar pickguard and knobs are being soaked in coffee to make it look relic :lol:
got the idea from van halens guitar and was tempted to copy.and i gave in to the temptation :lol:.i call it the fr-an-kenstein.enjoy........

anyone can tell me a way to make the guitar body look relic?i tried using sandpaper.but the finish seems too thick to reveal the wood.tried burning a small part of the body.the finishing came out but doesnt look natural.anyone got any method that is easy?

ok bro rimuel ill try to sand the finish down but how long did you take to sand the finish down?and what grid did you use?

due to a thin finish,it didnt take much.i used a 100 grade

Finally completed my try on putting on Petrucci's design on my ibanezz. Hardest part would have been around the pickup selector and pot area. =[
Will appreciate any advice if I put anything at the wrong place =p
