I stumbled upon the GRG270. list for about $535. after discount should be about 400.
the sweelee salestaff told me not to get it as the bridge is not that good. recommended me the RG370/Jem Junior/PGM3 which was $963. About 720. off budget!!!

seriously is the bridge on the grg270 really that bad?
I need some other opinion.

well i'm not much of a whammy dive bomb player.
kindly assist!

if your life depends on the whammy, this model is one to avoid.

if you don't whammy, get n ibanez with a fixed bridge.

the review section has some Ibanez which might suit your budget.

as for the GIO series, if you have to choose one from this selection, i'd recommend these:

*GRG121
*GSZ120
*GAX70

well i may not be much of a whammy player, but i may need that extra whammy magic for the "wow" factor in soloing. thx for the offer remy but I just can't take the GRG270 off my mind at the moment ;p

yes i agree u need tt "wow" factor in soloing
however if tt whammy bridge is not working smoothly
ur tuning is not gonna stay in place
so tts making a "wow" factor into a "ouch" factor

and if u see the specs
u getting a GRG neck , basswood body , medium frets , pickups tt i have no idea how it sounds like and a floating bridge tt is not gd enuff

and for the price ur paying its not worth it

DONT EVER GET GIO SERIES PLS....i bought it once...and it can never last...plus the pickups will get busted after a while... get rg321mh..i bought it recently and its a good choice if you consider taking it :)

You might not be able to get the GRG270 out of your mind but if you get it, there will be people who's gonna say you're out of Your mind, lol.

Jest aside, when 5 people told you not to get that guitar model (6 if you count the Swee Lee staff, 7 if you count me in, and 8 cos Subversion's advice has the same weight of 2 opinions, heh), then it says alot about the guitar itself.

Ultimately, what you wanna get is your choice, though. It's your money you're putting forward. We're just here to advice you where is best to put it. :)

he he... i think our opinions here should be just mere guidelines to your decision, which should be final- it's your money anyway...

however, as far as i am concerned, i would advice people against buying stuff which would entail more regrets rather than satisfaction.
