16 Y old, introduced to a couple of guitarist and bass player by my drummer. I was suppose to sing, but in the end I played drums. Jam everyy month until I was 18. Then started to play drums again since a year ago.
i agree with chang on this one, forming a band with good friends might not be such a good idea. when 4 other good friends of mine wanted to form a band, i did vocals. we played something we all coincedentally already knew, which was dirty little secret by the all american rejects. after that session, we disbanded shortly after because we all were influenced by diff stuff. our guitarist liked stuff like, busted, fightstar. our drummer liked punk. our bassist left us permanently so i had to be on bass. but we never got to the next jamming session. because we all couldn't agree on what to play. even though we knew each other for 7~8 years, we couldn't even form a band due to different musical interests.
shit,my first band was alright except the vox,he wanted to dress like axl rose, but turned out like johny depp in Pirates of the Carribean...when he sang,it sounds like some guy that's been kicked at the groin dunno how many times,it sounds funny and hell i was really paiseh that time
