Your Favourite Vocalist - Got Video Better =D

lol. Vicko, you really mean that in this whole world yiour fav vocalists are those two that you provided? Not meaning to diss anyone but just wanting to be certain.

my music tastes very diverse, but local singers ya those two.

if we're talking international..

micahel buble, eric martin of mr big, darren hayes of savage garden, m shadows of a7x, blink182, the guy from daphne loves derby, ville valo of HIM, chester bennington/mike shinoda of linkin park, the guy from mcr is okay but sometimes he gets on my nerves. hayley from paramore, pierre from simple plan, the eagles (don henley and timothy b schmidt),

My favo vocalists are..

1) Eva Cassidy (February 2, 1963 – November 2, 1996). She probably has the most silky clear voice I've ever come acrossed. And a bonus...She plays guitar and sings.
Sadly, she died from melanoma at the age of 33.

2) Shawn McDonald, a Contemporary Christian music (CCM) singer, songwriter and guitarist. I don't really no much about him but when I heard his version of somehere over the rainbow, i was blown away.

Rork, Why do you see the need to criticise, question, or be 'certain' of other people's tastes or opinions?

RoRK is very inquisitive. I like to read people so that I can understand them better. Sometimes I watch people at bustops to try and read them. Soft oso gotch interesting characters. RoRK just trying to understand more than what meets the eye. And not everything you see as criticism may have been meant as criticism. But you take what you can and what you want - same same like everyone else, including RoRK.

pERSONALLY i'M AMAZED AT vICKO FOR NOT SELECTING FARID LONG FROM RETRO GROOVE.. AS HER FAVOURITE VOCALIST

An angel and demon in one guy. just wait for the clean-singing parts.
Best of both worlds and hugely impressive.
I totally agree. Thank you for mentioning him, love Opeth!!!

Gotta add Sharon Den Adel from Within Temptation. She has absolutely no vocal training but she handles classical parts pretty darn well.

Also Tarja Turunen, former lead singer of Nightwish...I'm not a fan of Anette Olzon's voice, but I still love Nightwish's new album because Tuomas is an awesome composer and song-writer.

Loreena McKennitt. Not really metal or rock (more world or new-age or Celtic), but an absolutely gorgeous voice which reminds me of mediaeval times.

Viebeke Stene, former lead singer of Tristania.

Sarah McLachlan. Not very classical or operatic, but very enchanting nonetheless.

Jewel. Very folksy like a story-teller.

I realised I haven't added any men...Oh, oh!!! I know.

Brandon Boyd of Incubus. *sigh*

Kurt Cobain. His voice isn't what you'd call amazing, but he delivers the emotions/pain like no one else can. His voice just breaks my heart.

Jeff Buckley. *sigh*

Layne Staley from Alice In Chains. Same reason as for Cobain. Somehow, I found Staley's voice sexier.

David Cook, winner of this season's American Idol. :p And of course Chris Daughtry from 2 seasons ago.

Dan Haseltine from Jars Of Clay. Absolute angel.

Will get back on more guys. ;)
