Your favourite tuning

I doubt you'll need a set-up unless you're planning to up the gauge. Its a hardtail bridge so there's the tuning flexibility.

Since you're upping the gauge, you will need to have the pickups lowered and the truss rod adjusted.

its abit hard not to up the gauge especially if im planning to use standard C. i think my next set of strings, im going to try 10-52s first. do i need to have the pickups lowered and the truss rod adjusted if i want to use that gauge? or can i just replace it as per normal?

I think you might still need to adjust the pick-up height because the strings are thicker and may be nearer the pick-ups, causing a lot of feedback. But I think pick-up height is something you can do yourself, all you need is a screwdriver.

but is it a must to adjust the pickup height? because if it is a must, i will bring it for a setup. i am not very sure how to adjust it myself and at the time, i may want to change my pickups.

if i stay with the normal gauge (9s) will i be ever to play in standard C without any problems?
