I am curious as to what is the entire purpose of this thread?

Played in a general rock band called Love for Revenge until a few days back when I officially quit because of musical differences (I still play session bass for them though).

Another band I'm involved in is Powerblaze, we play mainly classic hard rock and heavy metal stuff from the 70s and 80s.

My main band is the Christian rock band Redcon, though. We're very freestyle and we tend to do blues-rock, heavy rock, post-grunge and even alternative metal, as long as its hard! Our myspace is www.myspace.com/redemptionconcept but we haven't recorded any originals yet.

used to be in hydrofly's speedmetal band called Vernichtung (now known as Engelkind). got booted after a few weeks.

now in a band called Anechoic Zero. we play progressive rock.

I think it is interesting people keep posting their band names without ever knowing what it is for? Soon these band names will be buried under the numerous new names that will appear in the subsequent pages and then? Viola... What will happen? Is it a band name directory or something?

Maybe u can update the SOFT Wiki with the list of bands so that in the future, others would not have to open a new thread like this to see the different names of peoples band.

If you look on the left column, you should see the Wiki link. Click on it and it will bring you to the Wiki page and then click on the Edit tab on the top and voila, there you go.

ive had a few.
the first one was Blackdice.
second was The Forgotten Presence.
then it was The Apostasy.
we changed alot cos there were previous bands with the same name.
so we ended up with T.H.E.O.R.B(The Human Eyes Only Recognises Beauty)
yes there is a band with the same name. The Orb, oh well, we're quite different.

for freaking simplicity sake, we just made it to THEORB.
played from punk rock, pop rock, melodic metalcore, mathcore and now we experiment baybeh. everything also sebat. genres are irrelevant. music is music.
