Your all-time favorite or first synth...

my first sync was a yamaha sy 77. was contemplating whether to get an organ wih minimal functions or a fantastic synth as i only hv abt 3 - 4k to spare, in the end i chose the sy77.
i did not regret, cos i used it to arrange alot of my own compositions and also help friends arrange some of their songs for some concerts. the sounds were great and i manage to download a lot of patches from the internet. its has 16 tracks, comes with FM synthesis and AWM for sound creation. did tried to create my own sounds by modifying other sounds, but nvr really go into the sound editing part, its was too complicated as there were many parameters to set. i think they only draw back was the percussion/drum set sounds, not so realistic. thr out its entire life, i nvr use any cards before altho the there were 2 expansion slots on it, was too ex and i cldnt afford it.
after many many years, the floppy disk get cannot read and i could not play back alot of my saved sequence as i was busy with work and subsequently play less on it, then slowly the internal battery ran out and i lose all my sounds. sold it as a piece of junk for only $50 in the end. that was my first and last synth that i ever owned.
