Hi all.. I'm a newbie here.
Appreciate if somebody can give me recommendation or review on the above?
Anyone've ever taken a course at Cristofori Bukit Batok? or Yamaha Tampines Mall?
Thank you

Hi there,

I just happen to see this thread. Hope it helps though it's quite a late reply.

I'm currently a Yamaha teacher teaching Yamaha Junior Course (YJC) and Classical Piano Course (CPC). I don't teach at Yamaha Tampines branch but it depends on what's your focus is like. If you're going for ABRSM practical/theory exams, you can apply for CPC with Yamaha. (would not say much about Cristofori as I'm signed under Yamaha =P) The teachers are trained/experienced in preparing students for ABRSM exams.

However, if you're only learning for interest/leisure or going for any other exams, such as LCM or Trinity, you can try other schools or private teachers as Yamaha only focuses on ABRSM exams. Hope it helps! :)

The best thing u can do for yourself is to go down there and meet the teacher, have a chat and if possible a trial lesson. Schools are there to have regulations, syllabus etc. Its the teacher that makes the lesson worth while or not.
