Yamaha Music School

Hey guys, I need your advice ..

I'm currently learning guitar from another school ( I won't mention which ) but I don't really feel that I'm going the right track .. there's not really a proper teaching structure .. I'm learning things randomly .. For example, I was learning basic chords , then typical pentatonic scales and some genre based stuff .. it's too messy ..

I would like to know what you guys think about Yamaha Music School .. I can pretty much play electric , acoustic and classical , currently in grade 3 (mostly self-taught) .. For Yamaha , there's 3 courses to choose from Lead, Acoustic and Classical .. which course would give me the foundation and structure to play blues/jazz/gypsy jazz/finger style type of arrangements ? Of course I do know of basic theory and I play mostly blues/jazz on all 3 instruments ..

thanks

Find a proper teacher. As reputable as Yamaha may seem, not all their teachers are, .. capable. Try to speak directly to a teacher and tell him specifically what you wish to learn and what your goals are and whether he/she is able to help you. 'Reputable' schools don't mean much. Contact the teacher directly. Ask as many questions as possible.
