hi guys, im thinking of getting this electric acoustic guitar. I tried playing it and it feels great. The sound is beautiful when plugged in and the price is also within my budget.

Just wanna ask for some honest opinion on this guitar and also, wat other electric acoustic would u recommened that's similar to this model, both price range and quality.

You can't go wrong with a Yamaha APX, though I think the unplugged tone might lack a bit of projection and bass response due to the APX's smaller body, but quality-wise, recommended.

i've been using one for about 4 years now, still damn gerek sia..sound good play good look good..doesn't rape your pockets either. one of those no regret items you purchase in life..do share with us how much you paid for it when u buy it

Yup, do share how much you paid for it (all in with bag) if you buy it. I'm actually thinking of getting one for myself since I don't mind a little less bass response if the guitar has a pickup and is smaller-sized.

thanks for the response! its going for 450bucks at yamaha (bag not included). Im still contemplating on whether to get it though because its a laminated top instead of solid

Solid-tops supposedly sound better over time but I think that judging this guitar shouldn't be based on the top (solid or laminate) alone. Furthermore, if you plug it in and use the onboard pickup, the tone coming from the amp will never be the same so the added richness from a solid top might not be carried over into the plugged-in tone.

Try getting from Luther Music... I bought mine there.. they helped me setup the guitar action and all until very comfortable on the hands.. which I doubt other shops does this for you.. I got an APX-700 anyway... they're great when plugged in and very portable!!!
