Looking for trade with Gibson Chet Atkins SST model.
Or selling 1988 American Fender Stratocaster.
I bought it from one of the softies few months ago.
Worn Maple neck, Dark emerald green color body.
Best old strat condition I have ever seen.
Reason for selling: Moving back to my home country.
Comes with a new 010 earnieball strings.
Features and condition as follows:
- Solid maple neck and fretboard
- Sherwood Green body color (Dark Metallic Green) - only available for Custom Shop and '62 AVRI.
- TBX tone control (stock for first post-CBS Stratocasters in the 80's)
- All stock from 1988. Even pickups are stock. A quick look under the hood will show how "clean" the soldering and everything is. Never felt the need to change the pickups.
- Body Condition: Minor scratches and dings from normal use through 25 years in front and back, but NO PAINT CHIPPING OFF. Only 1 ding, and the photo below shows it beside a normal ballpoint pen.
- Neck Condition: Plenty of fretlife and the frets were replaced a few years back; Maple neck is naturally relic'd on the edges (natural for used maple neck). Most of the wear is closer to the first 3 frets - Check out the photos
- Hardware is all original i.e. tuners, tremolo etc. However, the tremolo arm is not included in the purchase
Selling price: Guitar only - $900
Brand new M80 Mono case - $150
Guitar + Mono case - $1,000
Mono case will be sold after the guitar is sold.
Text or whatsapp me at 9727-1549 for pictures.
Thank you.
