The FP02 is a MUST if you wanna fulfill the G3 fullest potential(vol swell,pitch shift,wah,other crazy stuffs).
You might ask: why not just get the G3X with the EXP pedal ATTACHED?
G3 with the FP02 is still the best as it gives you the liberty of having the EXP pedal or not.
It's extremely friendly to use with other analog pedals.
(It's in the same chain with my Skreddy Screwdriver,Blackout Effector Twosome,MojoHand Colossus,AMT Jap Gal)

Downsizing to just a couple of drive pedals.
