This is one solid superstrat, comes with a SOLID ALDER body unlike the cheaper basswood used on Ibanez RGs, alder is the tonewood traditionally used on Fender strats and it sounds better for good reason. I know this cos I own an American Fender and 2 Ibanez RG Prestiges(which I sold) before, and I'm not really a fan of that sterile mid-focused tone that basswood produces, not enough low end and highs for drive and rather uninspiring cleans.

This Yamaha RGX220dz also comes with a solid brass block on its Floyd Rose trem for increased sustain.

For all these features I'm only asking for 450. Its brand new and less than 2 months old. Still under warranty from yamaha (will provide the guarantee card) Selling cos I don't need a superstrat for my style of play anymore. For this price you'd be hard pressed to find features like this, even on the higher end Ibanez models (trust me, I just sold off my RG3570dz not too long ago) Action has been nicely set up nice and low by Goose, with orange drop capacitor added for clarity and a dimarzio push pull tone knob added for coil split. All these parts and service charges came up to about an added 90 bucks.

Comes with a standard yamaha bag. Trying it out is subject to my convenience at Tanah Merah.

Before you guys start lol-ing, I'd appreciate if you verify the source's authenticity of information before jumping into conclusions.

The RGX 220DZ was defintely NOT SOLD at that price technoguy quoted. I believe you were referring to the RGX 121Z, which is this

As you can see, it is a cheaper model that does not sport a locking trem, brass block or an alder body.

Hope that clears things up. Anyway, be my guest if you can get the guitar cheaper, but I hope you won't mislead buyers. Such misleading statements are at best constumacious and recalcitrant.

P.S the basswood thing is my opinion, whatever works for you, use it! For me, after owning a 3k plus basswood guitar, I think I have every right to state my POV

I hope that you'd produce more concrete evidence.....Its like someone saying oh, I can get this at the SL sale at $xxx, but the sale is over...and you cant get it at that price anymore...geddit? If you can get it at that price at the clearance sale, by all means, go and get it! But please, don't ruin my sales thread here.
