For sale, is an extremely rare Shure SM59 picked up from the US. There weren't too many of these made and this microphone remains as one of the greatest secret weapons of old-school producers to date. I have known of engineers who prefer the SM59 on guitar cabinets over the ubiquitous SM57. Needless to say, the SM59 excels on vocals and are still being used frequently despite being discontinued for years.
The characteristics of the SM59 is strikingly similar to that of the modern SM7 but with a noticeably lower output (which can be compensated by cranking up the preamp). This unit has just been returned from servicing and now has completely clean guts that is guaranteed to last. A little googling will further reveal the impressive abilities of this microphone.
