Hi all,
Want to put up my beloved Takamine acoustic cutaway with pickup for sale. This guitar really has a great sound that is so hard to find in others that are less that $500!
Have used it quite extensively for gigs and one recording. It is also very dependable and the pickup surprisingly sounds very good! It is really a players' guitar and has a few dings on the top and small chip at the headstock, buckle rash at the back of the guitar and surface scratches at the back (only seen in reflection). There are also scratches on the pickguard and a bit of surface scratches on the wood below it.
Other than that, the tuners have been upgraded to Gotohs, which are very dependable, and the bridge pins are Bone with Abalone Inlay. Overall, a beautiful and presentable guitar with all the inlay surrounding the top of the guitar and the soundhole! The Rosewood back and sides really give a refined and warm sound. The top features a Solid Spruce top which has a really beautiful grain alike to Sitka spruce. Guitar has just been set up and fitted with Elixir Strings! Altogether spent $580 on this guitar, now going for $380!
