Hi Guys
I'm finally gonna put this up for sale. Its a 1996 Taylor 914c with the coverted Cindy inlays.
It comes upgraded with the following..
1. FMI saddle
2. LR Baggs Anthem full system( this alone is S$550.00 installed in)
How is this 1996 older 914c compared to the new ones. This comes with an Engelman spruce top( new models are sitka) that gives you that rich played it tone. The trebles are sweeter and a deeper richer bass response.
the other thing is the abalone that they use in the 90s has deeper rich blues/green hues in it.
The quality of the indian rosewood in the 90s used are tighter grain with lots of reds/purple and chocolate brown hues
The older ones are built lighter ...that is why they sound more responsive and also the older necks are thinner which suits the asian hands.
if you are interested please email me at

I let the pictures do the talking...
cheers jarvis
