Selling Taylor 714ce made in 2000 for $1800. Plays perfect and has no problems with the guitar aside from the lacquer peeling. This is a common problem for early taylor guitars and the lacquer is no longer peeling. Setup done by Malcolm and the frets are very well taken care of. This guitar still has a very long playing life. I bought it for $1750 and upon receiving it last year, I upgrading the following components:
-Fmi saddle and nut worth 200 dollars
-Replaced old fishman pickups with lr baggs lyric worth 300 dollars. Fantastic reviews for this pickup. U have to hear it to believe it.
-New ebony bridge pins and elixir strings worth a total of 40 dollars.
-New hardcase worth 200 dollars as the old taylor hardcase was worn out.
Selling because of changing to a dreadnought size guitar that I prefer. Not in a rush to let this go, so don't lowball me. The price is firm as it is as reasonable as it gets. The upgrades are worth quite a sum and I'm not making a profit from this. Not for fussy buyers overly concerned about the appearance of the guitar.
