Hi,
I have a Taylor 314CE, 2002 model, so it comes with the discontinued Fishman Prefix plus pickup. This guitar has served me well over the years as my main performing tool in various pubs, so it has seen better days. I've stopped performing for quite a while and busy with my full-time job, so thought I'll let it go at a real low price to someone who can put it to better use...
As it has accompanied me pretty much over the years, it is not meant for fussy buyers as it comes with quite a few dings here and there (pls see pic), and the fret has pretty much been worn out and might need a re-fretting and big overhaul at a professional luthier to restore back it to the days of its glory. I encountered some low hums with the pickup at a couple of events, but yet sounded ok at most situations, so I think it'll be good to have the electronics checked out too, it could be the grounding problems at those events where I heard the hum, or the pickup itself.
The original leather hard-case is also pretty much worn out over the years and the handle has broken, so I don't think I'll be able to provide a case for the guitar, unless you want to have the original case which I could give it to you.
Definitely not for fussy buyers, but it is afterall a good old taylor and the tone is nicely brought out of the solid top. Good for anyone who knows how to restore the guitar and use it as a spare guitar. Looking at $950 firm. Interested pls email me at ahshun78@gmail.com, selling at first come first serve basis.
