I can't really bear to let go of this, but I don't play live much these days to keep too many basses. So would prefer this go to someone who can make good use of this baby.
This is an absolutely MINT Sadowsky Metro MV-5. No marks or dings at all, in almost brand new condition with the plastic still on the pickguard and back cover. Any marks or dullness on the pickguard is due to the plastic film still on it. If I'm not wrong, dark cherry burst seems to be more rare for Sadowsky MV basses. I am the second owner, but both the first owner and I have kept this in excellent shape.
Specifications:
- MIJ MV5 (jazz) bass
- Ash body - Dark cherry burst finish
- Maple neck and board
- Sadowsky humcancelling pickups
- Active onboard preamp with VTC controls
- Sadowsky hard/soft case (very cool)
- Very light weight bass at approx 3.5kgs
- Throwing in two new sets of Sadowsky blue labels (1 stainless, 1 nickel)
Selling this for SGD 3,000. I am not in a hurry to sell this, so no lowballers please.
To get a sense of how a Sadowsky jazz bass sounds, do check out this video by Mezzoforte. I have never heard a youtube video with a better recording of a Sadowsky than this (though i must say that the bassist here might be using the more expensive NYC version and not the MIJ MV 5).
