wow ... that was fast .... selling this whole kit within 24hrs after purchasing it from another forumer .... hmmm.......

I see alot of all these new accounts recently. All having something fishy going on. Either buy and sell more expensive for the sake of earning or just multiple accounts for some unknown reason. Saw another seller recently buying over a drum kit and selling it for more than double the price. Purposely messaged him to check and he had the same kit, specs and sizes and even cymbals. Too much of a coincidence?

I dont see the problem of buying at a low price and reselling at a higher price, i mean, if its still below the resale price i guess its okay.

Then you go buy loh ... lolz .....

The thing is ... barely 24hrs after buying .... he sells .... with the reason "I am not allowed to play drums at home" .... like duhhh ... c'mon lah ...

Profiteering is generally frowned upon around these parts. There's a lot of goodwill from a lot of generous folks here and seeing someone jump on a deal just to flip it trying to make a quick buck... to put it plainly, it stinks.

Agreed with what cheesedaele says. I mean, there is definitely someone out there who might be genuinely interested in the kit but it got sold to the dirty buyer instead and he sells it at a higher price just for the sake of profit and not even interested in the kit at all.

Not accusing anyone of anything but it's just not very nice if it's really what's happening here. Hope the seller finds a buyer soon or something.

And esp if its for beginners... Flipping is no good. We're here to help each other out, not start a business...

nice to see fellow softies protecting each other! =)

and yup it's definitely a lot more tolerable if you bought the kit, actually tried it, and didn't like it. Then you sell it off for maybe a little profit to someone who will appreciate it, and not even so fast as 24 hours. This forum would go down the drain if everyone was trying to make a quick buck.

Hello..thanks to ssflyse for seeing the point...
I sold it in 1 day bcos simply,i am not allowed to keep it..i bought it without informing my family...

Why Not I sell It at $500 ? $600 ? $700 ? Why why why?
Why only $380 When it bought it for $350?
i am only a student... i carry it myself and load onto a Taxi and from Pasir Ris to Yishun(peak hour charge) ... u know how much?
i am just covering my cost...
Come On ..
by the way,the person who bought ONLY PAID $360 ... i lost a little ...

Hi there, if that is really the case, then I sincerely apologise and I believe the rest will too. We should not have jumped to conclusions without hearing your side of the story.

But you do have to admit your post was dubious. Another ad selling the same item within a day, a higher price, and the exactly same pictures is bound to make some suspicious of your intent. Do be careful the next time something like this happens.

Cheers =)

yeah...my apologies for causing the commotion... i have been playing the keys and guitar for years, wanna start playing drums, mom dont allow an acoustic set at home, cant do anything about that,so i have to sell it urgently in a day...

In such a situation, still, just sell it for however much you paid for it. Whatever mistakes on your part - didn't do your homework/research, cabbie made a wrong turn and went on a detour - you should bear their costs, not offload them onto a third-party. As far as you not having added any value to it (clean it up, repaired things that were defective, etc.), in effect someone else pays for you to try it out. That doesn't float well.

I'm not going to argue over circumstantial exceptions. I believe most of us subscribe to the same set of principles.

TS: Good luck finding a buyer.

ok, this is abit late and lame. i am the friend of the guy who bought his drumset, this deal is a memorable one. 1st) he lied about how he got it. remo from yamaha. haha cool story bro. and claim that he got it over a year ago. when confronted with the facts he tried to deny and kept insisting we pay 380, to cover up for his taxi fare of $20, which actually we are fine with it, but 350+ 20=370. so where is the extra 10? he claim its his kopi money for carrying home. so we said, well why dont u cover our taxi fare as well, he said he is not liable to do so, as he never ask us take taxi, we can find someone to help drive us back. what BS. end up, we settle for 360 as my friend is 'ok' with that drumset. so since 10 bucks isnt such a big deal we agreed to it. the point is not about bringing up an old story, but the morale behind this whole 'memorable' incident is that, honesty when dealing with people is very important. dont cook up a story to just earn that few extra bucks, reflects badly on ur personality especially when he say he is from a megachurch choir. outright lying. just here to share my side of the story. and also, if you want to lie, pls make sure ur story tally and delete all source of evidence that can expose you. thanks to fellow softies for highlighting the earlier link, it help us realise that he is lying. ok, its over a year now, and my friend is happy with the drum set. so we are cool, but just to remind people about honesty and integrity, especially when dealing with people on soft. it sucks to see people trying to make a cheap profit or to 'cover up' taxi fare. its lame. seriously.

Wow ... speechless ... but smelt something fishy from the beginning.

But a good lesson to all and thanks for sharing.
