Hi guys, helping a friend sell a really rare and special piece. I've personally owned a number of PRS and custom 24s in general and this comes up top.
Guitar houses a Korina body, a one-piece quilt top and a pattern regular carve neck. Extremely rare to come by - only 120 pieces were made worldwide in 2009 - hence the limited edition status.
Besides being a tonal masterpiece, this piece is a real beauty: the quilt is amazing with 3D-like depth, looking different depending from which angle you look at. (Difficult to capture the color and quilt top on camera, but it’s a work of art)
The korina back versus the regular mahogany makes this guitar sing and snap on top of being significantly more collectible. Super comfortable neck and fret board - plays like butter and features the regular carve which the vintage PRS guitars are known for.
Guitar comes with the highly sought after 57/08s without "the 57/08 TM stamp on the pickup covers" - which is the creme of the crop for 57/08s. Also, this comes with the push-pull coil tap which is a common feature for top of the line PRS models such as the Modern Eagle.
In short, a real beauty and looker that plays like a dream and sounds like a beast.
Priced at $3.8k for a quick sale - doubt you'll find a better guitar for the price. Comes with all hang tags and case candy, as well as the original hardcase.
