I contemplated for a LOOOOONG time if i wanted to sell this.
TODAY is the day.
VINTAGE BIG BOX PROCO RAT with RUETZ MOD
Going for 200 SGD.
Discontinued with the famous LM308 Chip.
Best damn Rat i've ever tried.
The Ruetz RAT mod which involves simply cutting the 47ohm resistor to disengage half of the drive circuit. Gain is reduced somewhat and the bass is no longer attenuated. Additionally, the 560 ohm resistor controlling the lower half of the distortion filter can receive similar treatment. Either can translate to thicker (fuzzier) bass response at the expense of less distortion.
(can also use it in normal mode)
