Its essentially a hot-rodded Plexi with a few gain alterations and I mean any classic Marshall sound can be derived from this amp.... early Clapton and Jimmy Page stuff right up to 80's hard rock. The built in attenuator (power scaling) is an awesome feature, it allows you to really get the amp cooking like they used to in the 60's and 70's without drastically altering the tone. Perfect for rocking out in even apartment or HDB.

I'm the first owner of this amp. So you'll also get all the goodies that comes with it - sealed packaged signature Marshall Slash Limited edition t-shirt, head cover, certificate of authencity signed by all who worked on and assembled the amp, handbook, unopened foot-switch with box. Current condition is like new. Never gig with it, never abused. I really take good care of all my gear so you can buy with confidence.

Selling at $1650

You're better off with your dsl and stop making it sound as though he is obligated to sell it to you at your budget.

DSL and this amp big difference leh. one is made in vietnam while the other is made in the UK.

And also not forgetting that the AFD100 is limited edition (2300 world wide). eBay is still going at US$1800 - US$2300.

For your info DSL is also made in England & it cost abt $1.4 k for a brand new. If you don't want to sell yr used AFD is ok. What' s yr problem?

*face desk*

face desk your head la.

Anyway, even if its really assembled in UK, so what? I've seen the innards of many DSLs and it looks like a cheap shoddy chop up job by Chinese migrant workers. Not to mention reliability issues. PCBs and resistors are also definitely from the far east. In any case, if I want something better made and up to Marshall standards like the older plexis, I'd go for an AFD anyday.

Anyway I did ask the uncle at Davis, he told me that the new TSLs and DSLs are made in Vietnam. Unless you are going for the reissue JCM 800s/900s, which are made in the UK. So I wonder who's the one spreading misinformation here.

LOL seriously. whats up with buyers these days. Some guy offered me 500 i think for my Gibson LP Jr. I couldn't resist.. I ended up replying "Cool story bro" haha.

Actually S$1650 is a very good price for Marshal AFD plus all the sealed packages (candies etc.), if I don't have my THD Flexi-50 I will definitely go for this.
