Up for grabs is a rare KAWAI flagship musicworkstation additive synthesizer K5000W in perfect mint working and cosmetic condition, never gigged, never left studio and never used much in smoke free environment.... it's not the K5000S which cannot do sequencing. This synth monster can do 40,000 notes sequencing with 40 tracks!!! (even my KORG Triton can only do 16 tracks) So that's many many layers in layman terms... This baby is in MINT working and cosmetic condition. Ok I take back... FREAKING PERFECT condition! I am letting go at SGD$1000 here... once I put on ebay it will have a starting bid at SGD$1000 and buy it now at SGD$1200... Vintage Synth Explorer estimated value in the second hand market is USD$500 - USD$1200 depending on condition... and mine is mint, you do the conversion maths... so grab it if you wana do some additive synthesis and sequencing for a good price now...
Ok the magic lies in the mod wheel. It's bank presets can be edited to fit your unique taste. But using the presets alone, you will find that it's packed with great sounds but pretty standard with a few flares... but once you start turning the mod wheel, that's when the sound comes alive... For a fully working synth sequencer work-station at $1000 I would say it's a steal. It has 2 midi interfaces, yes 2! So that means 2 ins 2 outs 2 throughs. And also has 4 outputs (L/R main and indiv outputs 1,2)... this synth comes with original kawai pedal, original manuals, OS updates on floppy disc and updated preset sounds on floppy... easily updated because the KAWAI has a floppy drive. You can also save your "designed" sounds on floppy for easy archival.
Reason for selling is because it's really under-used. I have only used it to toy with its addictive synth and after that never touch it anymore because of work and also I had too many synthersizers at home. And also I am starting to collect analogue synthesizers and modular synthesizers so am letting go my digital ones. As a synth collector myself, this machine is a rare catch. So that's really a waste of this beast lying around unused. Drop me an email at sonicbrat@gmail.com... you can see the actual unit on this photopage of mine:

Feel free to contact me to view this unit and test it out over at my place. Self pick up please.
My lost is your gain. Grab it before I change my mind...
