Huss and Dalton Guitar Company is founded by Jeff Huss and Mark Dalton in 1995. They are now highly regarded as one of the top 5 time-tested boutique builders alongside Lowden, Collings, Bourgeois and Santa Cruz. Huss & Dalton has won numerous accolades for it versatility and tonal richness.
All Huss & Dalton standard series guitars employ a 25' radius built into the guitar top. This is achieved by building an arch into the braces and preparing the sides in the same radius to accept the soundboard. This radiused soundboard design, improves load bearing properties and gives a sweet mid-range boost which gives Huss and Dalton guitars more tonal balance over traditional designs.
All Huss & Dalton guitars are also braced with hand split Appalachian Red Spruce (Adirondack) for greater strength-to-weight ratio than other brace woods. If you are looking to upgrade from a factory built guitar, these guitars will likely be your most affordable option as they offer the most competitive prices in the boutique acoustic market.
