This is it ... a fully handmade gem for sale. A friend left this piece with me and I invite serious buyers or collectors to give it a go ...
Harry Fleishmen has been building what he believe to be innovative, creatively conceived guitars and basses, pickups, and reinforcement systems for over 35 years. His work has influenced the work of luthiers around the world as he has been influenced by others as well. In addition to making custom guitars he have spent a considerable amount of time teaching lutherie.
Here is a write up of this wonderful guitar ...
The Brazilian rosewood for this guitar came from a living room table made in 1954 by a friend. It is simply the most gorgeous rosewood, aesthetically and tonally, that I've ever encountered. The top is half highly figured redwood from an antique serving table, and bearclaw spruce orphan top half. The Dragonfly inlay is abalone and snail shell. Notice if you can see it that the rosetter shows through the wings. That snail shell is only .005" thick! The arcs on the top are dyed pear, maple, and abalone. The bamboo rosette and headstock inlays are tahitian pearl and the bee is abalone, pearl, and gold pearl. I love this guitar, to play, to look at, to simply gush about.
