ebony fretboard. pickups upgraded to Seymour Duncan 59 at neck and JB at bridge.

neck is very 'fast'.

the studio lite was constructed with a center balsa block to lessen the weight instead of the modern chambering method - same method used in the Gibson Howard Roberts fusion guitar.
