I have a 1996 Gibson Les Paul Standard for sale (and yes, it is bought from a former softie), wonderful piece of instrument but selling it as i am not playing it as much as last time.
It is in Honeyburst colour and has a comfortable neck profile somewhere between 50s and 60s neck profiles.
The binding on the guitar has aged to a nice yellowish tint. The guitar has a gorgeous plain maple top and the wood grain is really beautiful.
The pickups are Stormy Monday from BareKnuckle Pickups, fitted with 2 RS Guitarworks SuperPots and 2 RS Guitarworks Audio Taper pots. The capacitors have been upgraded from the original ceramic caps to Russian paper-in-oil mil. spec caps. The guitar is wired with treble bleed to maintain the treble even when the volume is turned down.
Great sounding piece of instrument going at a price of SGD 2.6k
Comes with brown OHSC, pink interior with shroud. Dunlop Strap-locks installed, every original part is still in the hard case compartment.
Condition 8.5/10 except for a few hairline scratches.
I too have a Marshall SL-5 Slash Signature amp for sale
This amp has no trouble in nailing Slash's tones with the right settings and the '96 Les Paul, even at lower bedroom volumes! There's nothing else that needs to be said bout this great amp.
- The 5W to 1W function enables playing at night without sacrificing tone.
- Clean channel provides everything from smooth, glassy sounds to thick, violin-like sonics (and i'm not kidding). The overdrive channel pumps out a more modern, aggressive sound with plenty of definition at even the highest gain setting. Modeled after the signature AFD amp, this channel gives you that classic Slash solo sound.
This amp would go at SGD 800. Close to brand new and plastic stickers are not off yet. Original paddle box and amp box is still around.
If both guitar and amp is bought together, i will give a discount.
