Selling a used but not abused Fender Telecaster, made up of various parts:
Fender Crafted in Japan neck
- medium C profile, not a skinny neck by any measure
- 9.5" radius fretboard
- full, one-piece maple neck
- black dot inlays
- 22 medium frets
Fender Muddy Waters MIM body
- Solid Ash
- original Candy Apple Red finish sanded down, stained black, finished in danish oil, worn out in some areas; lovely, slightly relic-ed look.
- professionally routed out to fit 2 strat single coils underneath the pickguard. Very cleanly done.
Electronics
- 2X GFS 60s overwound strat pickups in neck & middle position, very nice and articulate with plenty of warmth and "zing"
- Seymour Duncan Lil 59 for telecaster in bridge position, wired in parallel mode for beefier single cool tone.
- 5-way switch
- Master Volume (CTS)
- Master Tone (CTS)
- Orange drop capacitor
- Treble bleed on volume pot.
Others
- GFS dual single coil off-white pickguard
- original Fender brass saddles
- original Fender "ashtray" bridge
- original Fender "amp" vol &a tone knobs
- original Fender control cavity chromed plate
- Dimarzio input jack
- original Fender input jack socket.

All in all a very versatile guitar with loads of quack, cluck, spank and twang, but can do the blues, rock and John Mayer thing very well. Position 4 is instant "Gravity" and "Rosie" tone; Bridge pickup gets you into Rolling Stones territory with ease. Much ballsier than your average telecaster or strat.
Fret life 85%, plays very well and sustains like no other telecaster I've played.
Strap locks will be included in sale.
Selling to make space as I have far too many guitars.
