With the following modifications:

1) Upgraded stock MIJ electronics to ACG/East Eq-02 Filter Sweep Pre-amp - $350 upgrade
(http://www.bestbassgear.com/acg-eq-02-j.htm) - Very, very versatile.

2) Very well made battery compartment installed to accomodate active EQ. You can easily swop out the pre-amp for anything else you want

2) Installed Dunlop Straplok

This bass has extremely good action, no dents, barely discernable hairline scratches and a good weight. Feels like what a solid workhorse should play like.

I still have the original electronics if you want to go back to a passive set up.
