Zylophobe and Nicholasim are right - Fender American Standards go for well above SGD1k brand new. And from what I remember, ratn's price is one of the more competitive ones on SOFT in recent times.

Isn't freedom of speech a fine and beautiful thing? We should adopt it nation-wide, not just on SOFT, and let everyone add to the debate on national issues, everywhere and vigorously. And just like how it lets SOFTies get at the elusive truth - freedom of speech will let Singaporeans get at the (hard?) truth(s) as well.
