Reluctantly selling away my custom built Danocaster. I was able to choose from some of the specs he offered for a new build. The guitar was completed in Nov 12 and shipped to me via 3 day express.
Here's the specs:
Total Weight - 7.1 lbs
* 2 pc Alder body - faded Sonic Blue all lacquer finish
* 1 pc maple neck w/ a aged amber finish and heavily rolled edges
* 1.65" nut width - Jescar 6125 frets on a 9.5" radius
* Kerry Learned "Onamac" mid 60s grey bobbin pickups
* all cloth wire - w/ EJ wiring layout
* vintage style tremolo w/ full steel block
Current build time is around 3 months!!! Dan Strain the man when it comes to authentic relic! Look at the way the pickup covers and the knobs are rounded.
Nice medium V neck fashioned after his vintage tele.
Sad to let it go but I am still downsizing and am happy just keeping one Strat style guitar which is my Don Grosh Retro Classic.
