Selling the above mentioned Blueridge BR-183 which I bought in Oct 2009. It is kept in its hardcase and in my 24x7 humidity controlled store room ever since i bought it. It is very well taken care of.

The condition of this piece is excellent (mint). This guitar has also been tonerited for more than 600 hours, which resulted in a very open, loud and responsive sounding. It has a very nice and unique vintage vibe too. The bass response for this guitar is surprisingly good and loud for such a small body. The sustain for high is superb and sweet, mid is fat and rich. Bluegrass player will love the tone of this guitar too.

The saddle and nut have also been professionally changed to FMI (Fossilized Mammoth Ivory) for added sustain and balance. The new FMI nut has a slightly wider string to string slot clearance for fingerstyle playing. The stock dalmation pickguard was removed since day one and replaced with a removable transparent one (looks better to my taste).

The specs:
• Select solid Sitka Spruce top with hand-carved parabolic top braces in authentic prewar forward X-pattern
• Premium solid East Indian Rosewood back and sides with abalone pearl on all borders
• "000" body style with 14th-fret neck joint
• Abalone border and sound hole rosette
• Premium ebony fingerboard and bridge
• Slim mahogany neck has adjustable truss rod and 1 11/16" nut width the traditional diamond volute on back of headstock
• Scale length of 25.5"
• Abalone position markers on fingerboard
• Delicate marquetry center strip on back
• Full D-45 style ornamentation
• Rosewood peghead overlay with uniquie, Mother-of-pearl and abalone design on peghead
• Natural high-gloss finish with aging toner for perfect vintage look
• Accurate vintage-style 14:1 ratio gold-plated open-back tuners with butterbean-style buttons
